The Basics

The Red Rose 100 2015. Welcome to Lancashire.

The Red Rose 100 will be held on Saturday May 23rd until Monday May 25th 2015. The Marshalls event will be held on Saturday May 2nd until Monday May 4th. Entrants will have 48 hours to complete a designated 100 mile route ensuring that their tally is clipped at each checkpoint and self clip. There will be a choice of start times for both events i.e.10am and 2pm and we hope that each entrant will consider carefully the best start time for them taking into account any previous 100 experience and normal walking speed. Please look at the checkpoint opening and closing times to help with your decision. Full details of these will be released later in the year.

Entries for both events will open on Monday October 20th and close initially on Friday November 28th. You can enter via Sportident (www.sportident.co.uk) or by downloading an entry form from this website (available now) and posting it to the entries secretary. Entry forms are also available by sending a SAE to the entries secretary, (see below). Entry limits are 550 for the main event. If entries received by November 28th exceed this limit then a ballot will be held and unsuccessful entries will be placed on a reserve list. If the limit is not reached then applicants will be accepted on a first come, first served basis after November 28th. The Marshalls event will be limited to 50 places.
