Car Parking

 

Car Parking.

More people have indicated that they need car parking than we anticipated. Despite pleas to participants to car share we will not have enough spaces at Anderton to accommodate everyone. We have arranged some external car parking at a school nearby. (Rivington and Blackrod High School, Rivington Lane. BL6 7RU) Will anyone volunteering to park here please contact the entries secretary ASAP. If we do not have enough volunteers then we will randomly pick some cars to park here. We will have minibuses to transport you to Anderton and we will return you after the event. Passes will be issued to those parking at Anderton and entry by car will be by those only.

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
