Route

SHAW = Shakespeare's Avon Way. Final stage taking us to our destination where the Avon joins the Severn at Tewkesbury. All who have completed all stages will be invited to sign a book kept in the Abbey for this purpose

This stage takes us from Pershore to Tewkesbury both below and via a leg up to Bredon Hill summit where we can see a large part of the Avon valley

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
