The Forest Marathon

FM LogoThe Forest Marathon will take place on 26th September 2026.

The LDWA Heart of England Local group are working with the Heart of England Forest to put on an event that explores the forest in early autumn. Along the way you will have views of areas that are newly planted seedlings, saplings, maturing, mature and ancient woodland. There will be views of the Warwickshire countryside and beyond. 

 

Surplus funds from the event will be donated to the Heart of England Forest. 

 

The Start/Finish (HQ) will be in Henley in Arden Memorial Hall.

 

 

 

 

Start will be from 8:00 am

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
