Starting at the War Memorial in Market Harborough town square - Postcode LE16 7PA
A linear walk along the Market Harborough arm of the Grand Union Canal, to Foxton Locks (location of a staircase of 10 locks, and one of the few remaining inclined planes in the UK), where there is a cafe and toilet facilities. Then northwards along the main GUC, passing the Navigation Inn at Kilby, ending at the Clock Tower in Leicester city centre.
There will be 3x 20 mins breaks along the way, walk expected to finish approx 5pm
General Notes
Return to Market Harborough by either bus (£3) or train (£13.80). Both methods have an hourly service on Sundays
