An opportunity for an LDWA behind the scenes tour of the RNLI training & manufacturing facilities; a chance to see how the volunteer lifeboat crews & lifeguards are trained & even have a go in a lifeboat simulator, as well as a bonus 'add on' of briefly viewing the manufacture of the lifeboats themselves. This, approximately 110 minute long, tour costs £7.50 per person, with all proceeds going to the RNLI. Booking is essential as the group number is restricted. We currently only have 6 spaces left
Coffee, snacks & lunch are available in the RNLI restaurant & the bar, both overlooking Poole harbour
General Notes
Parking: limited p&d parking is available at the RNLI (enquire at gatehouse) & also nearby, including at ASDA (2 hours free, but not long enough for the tour) or in Hill Street p&d. There is also limited free cycle parking on site (bring your own lock).
