Start and finish at the Symondsbury Estate car park (https://maps.app.goo.gl/TF2qRv2du87WpjBz6), where there is free parking. About 1000 m elevation
A hilly walk combining coast and countryside, with approximately 1000 m of ascent and about 6 hills - most of which will be in the morning. Lunch stop at Charmouth where there is a beach cafe and maybe the opportunity for a quick dip. Main highlights are West Bay with its collection of kiosks (for an early snack?), Thorncombe Beacon (the stiffest climb), Golden Cap (the flattest top), views over Morcombelake (famous for Dorset Knobs) and the Holloways near Symondsbury. Optional additional climb up Colmers Hill towards the end, the view of which features on many postcards.
