After the well-received Navigation Courses run in 2024 & 2025 Colin has offered to run the Course again in 2026. This course is designed for those who would like to enhance their navigation skills; it may also give members the confidence to lead walks.
The idea would be to deliver the course in two parts. The first would be a single day somewhere in Dorset; & the second two days in wild country (Bannau Brycheiniog).
In order to be able to teach navigation properly Colin will need to limit the numbers to six people.
Regarding costs, there would be no cost for Dorset LDWA members, but all participants would need to have a copy of OL15 and OL12 maps and a good quality compass.
General Notes
The second part of the course will be on the 15th & 16th April 2026. In previous years we rented a very nice property for three nights where we stayed during the second part of the course. If attendees are interested we can book this again.
