From parking area opposite the Ponderosa café, Horseshoe Pass, Llangollen LL20 8DR

Anti-clockwise route, southwards to pass Gribin onwards with views of Valle Crucia Abbey to reach Castel Dinas Bran. Pub stop at The Sun Trevor at the half way point. Continuing onwards to join the Offas Dyke Path along the Panorama Walk,  Eglwyseg Mountain, Worlds end, Llandegla Forest, returning to the Ponderosa. Approx 3800' ascent

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
