(Start at Ludwell, near Shaftesbury. We will explore the attractive Wiltshire countryside just east of the Dorset border, visiting Wimcombe Park, Semley, Wardour Castle, Whitesheet Hill, & Ferne Park. Explorer 118)
General Notes
Park at the New Remembrance Hall. SP7 0PL. Turn off the A30 onto the road going south opposite the church at Ludwell (Charlton Lane). This lane is just before the traffic lights if coming from Shaftesbury. After about 100m turn sharp right at a sign ‘Donheads Sports Club’. The c.p is on the right. Please use the spaces immediately in front of the Hall.
