This is a recce for a possible challenge event. The walk leader has not prevoiusly walked the entire route
General Notes
Much of the route is across moorland with some exposed but broad ridges. Self-sufficiency in food & drink for a full day is highly recommended. Some exploring is anticipated with the occasional wrong turn & as we will be looking for potential checkpoint locations; quite a few stops are expected. Outleg will be familiar to those who know the Duns Rig Horseshoe
