Meet: at the bus stop in Peebles, by the County Hotel
Linear walk. This is a delightful route in the Scottish Borders named after the author John Buchan – most famous for writing The 39 Steps (which was made into various films) – who had strong connections with the area

We take the 91 bus (heading to Biggar) at 10.05, arriving at Broughton at 10.32. If you have a bus pass, don't forget to bring it!
