West Highlands (Glencoe / Fort William area).Walking on easy snowy ridges with possibly the option to climb an easy grade 1 gully towards the end of the week.
No experience of winter walking is necessary, but it is worth noting that we will often be walking on ridges (as these are the safest place to be in snowy conditions) so a reasonable head for heights is required.
You would need to have B2 boots, crampons & a walking ice axe, but these can be easily hired in the area (Ellis Bingham in Fort William charges £120 for 6 days & they have a very good reputation).
Plenty of options for accommodation in the area at various prices. Exact cost will depend on numbers & how luxurious a place we want, but probably start at about £150 each for the week. Approximate cost: Accommodation £150+; Equipment hire (if required) £120; Food and transport
