Route
The Borough c.p, Downton on the High Street near the Co-op)
The route will head up on to the Downs to the west of Downton taking in Wick Down & Coombe Bissett Down with views across Cranborne Chase before dropping into the valley of the River Ebbie & Coombe Bissett for lunch. The route then goes down the valley passing Odstock village & then follows the Avon Valley Path alongside the River Avon back to Downton
General Notes
No pub lunch so please bring a packed lunch. There can be a short stop at the Yew Tree Inn, Odstock for drinks only
