King Charles 11 Escape - Linear Walk

Walk Details:
This is a linear walk of 28 miles, travel by coach from Penselwood to Wilton, walk back to Penselwood. This is following part of the Monarch?s Way, which is the escape route taken by King Charles II in 1651 after being defeated in the Battle of Worcester.
A minibus or coach will collect walkers from Penselwood v.h where there will be plenty of free parking, departing at 7.15am prompt, then we will walk as a group to Penselwood though the Somerset, Wiltshire & Dorset countryside.
There is supper of soup & homemade cakes kindly catered by Alex?s family at Penselwood v.h at the end of this long day out.
