A circular walk showcasing an area, once more populated than it is today. Medieval earthworks, Halls & Churches abound. Bygone agricultural practices & industries have left their mark on the countryside; arable & pasture fields, a monastic Grange, an historic Manorial estate turned prison service college & one of the largest & best-preserved Norman motte & bailey Castles in England
