Extra to Strider, weekend in Snowdonia at Plas y Brenin, National Mountain Centre Fri - Mon 25-28th August staying 3 nights. Staying in twin-room accommodation at the centre we have 3 full days in the mountains. Breakfast & evening meal at the Centre in the bar with a view across the Mymbwr of the Snowdon Horseshoe & more. Advisory kit list available, 3 full days walking on Saturday, Sunday & Monday. Mountain walking, high level ridge routes. Great scenery, & distant views across land & sea. LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
