This will not be a traditional social walk, but rather an opportunity to explore the Knepp estate on public footpaths and permissive paths, visiting wildlife hides along the way We will see more if we move around in small groups so Anne will lead one small group, & maps and suggestions of itineraries will be provided, together with locations where we can meet and exchange ideas through the day

Lift sharing is encouraged so please contact Anne to advise if you are happy to be contacted by other participants to share lifts. We will take picnic breakfast & lunch, & stop for a pub evening meal before travelling home at about 20:00 hrs. Bring binoculars / telescopes / ID guides and whatever you need for a wildlife extravaganza! White Storks, Nightingales, & Turtle Doves are almost guaranteed, possibly Purple Emperor butterflies too & plenty of wildflowers & insects. Sorry, no dogs due to need to sit quietly to observe wildlife.
