Staveley 50 km Night Hike

We will make two loops of approximately15 miles each from Staveley village - this is an opportunity to experience walking at night in a dark sky area

Seven Merseystriders met at Staveley Pavilion for a 7pm start. Rain and poor visibility didn't dampen our enthusiasm too much. With one or two wrong turns on the way, we completed a 50 kilometre figure of eight circuit at around 8:30am, slightly later than planned. Many thanks to Cyril for organising our first special event marking 50 years of the LDWA.Other Files
