Car park of Welshpool train station - note there is VERY limited parking here, and is for rail users only. You are advised to seek alternative parking within the town centre, which will usually be Pay & Display (£4 for more than 4 hrs).

A linear walk from the front of Welshpool station (reasonable pace), along the Montgomery Canal via Berriew and Abermule, to Newtown station.
Return by train (£5.80 single); trains every 2 hrs from Newtown to Welshpool (face covering currently is a legal requirement).

Aiming to catch the 14.41 service from Newtown - next service is at 16:41
