Coach travel from midlands to take us to the start as on previous walks

Route from Youlgreave to Castleton crossing many typical limestone dales goes through Monyash and Millers Dale before descending to Castleton in the Hope Valley. Many mines and caves are available for visits in this area, famous for the gemstone known as Blue John

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
