Meet at the Wightlink Ferry car park in Lymington, no later than 19.30 as we aim to catch the 20.00 ferry---
The ambition, weather etc. depending, will be to witness the dawning sun 04.10am, from a suitable viewpoint on the Isle of Wight
General Notes
Car parking at the ferry terminal will cost around £8.50 for up to 24 hours so car sharing will help to minimise this - make your own arrangements if possible. Crossing as foot passengers will cost approx £15-£16 and takes around 40 minutes. Once on the island we will adjourn to a nearby hostelry and start walking no later than 22.30. The walk will proceed to a viewpoint to witness the sunrise at 04.10 approx We will then have breakfast in the Bugle Inn and return by ferry around 10.00am at latest
