The Wensleydale Wedge will no longer be organised as a Challenge Event.

Entries for the 2024 Blubberhouses Moor are now open.

In recent years we had organised two Challenge events every year, the Blubberhouses Moor in late March and the Wensleydale Wedge in November. 

The 30th Wensleydale Wedge in 2022 was, however, the final event.  The Blubbeerhouses Moor will continue and the next event is 24th March 2024.

Group meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month at 8.00pm in The Woodlands Hotel, 110 Wetherby Road, Harrogate HG2 7AB

All Group walks have an emphasis on being social and accommodating. Any member of the LDWA can walk with the group and can if they wish elect to have Nidderdale as the group of their choice.

The group, in North Yorkshire, are drawn from a catchment area with the postcodes BD23 & 24, DL, HG, LS22 & 23 and have a programme of social walks which is published in Strider.

Prospective members of the LDWA are welcome to join one of the social walks for a trial period, but should make contact with the leader beforehand to confirm details.
