This Unsupported Anytime Challenge event is a replacement for the cancelled Cerne Giant. Entrants can participate at a time of their choosing between 12 April 2021 and 30 June 2021. The event is entirely unsupported, so there are no refreshments provided and no marshals on the route. Checkpoints are included in the route description, but these are for reference only and they will not be manned.

The event offers the choice of a 30 or 20 mile route. Starting from the village of Cerne Abbas, site of the famous Cerne Giant, the route will take in some of the best downland and river valleys of Dorset, passing through Alton Pancras, Lyscombe Chapel, Bingham's Melcombe (30 route only), the Dorsetshire Gap, Buckland Newton and Sydling St Nicholas (also 30 route only).

The event starts and ends at Cerne Abbas Kettle Bridge car park (GR ST664015 Link to map). Parking £1 honesty box.

There are refreshment options en route in Buckland Newton and the The Giant Inn, Cerne Abbas is offering a discount on evening food to entrants.
