The route starts from the lovely Borders town of Peebles to follow the Cross Borders Drove Road as it ascends to Kirkhope Law. Then it leaves the CBDR on a delightful undulating ridge taking in Birkscairn Hill, Stake Law, Hundleshope Heights and other peaks, before returning to Peebles
