Following the success of last year’s Boxing Day outing I have found another ‘little gem.’ This one takes in the very best of Charnwood Forest, which includes Ulverscroft Priory, Beacon Hill, Woodhouse Eaves, Swithland Woods and the treasure that is Bradgate Park. Superb post-Christmas Day ‘breather’

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
