Canterbury West rly stn, Station Road West, Canterbury, Kent CT2 8AN
The Elham Valley Way in a day. A Bank Holiday special. A tough hilly route which could be quite muddy in some places. We pass through some delightful villages and Kentish countryside, lunch in Elham. Cross the North Downs to finish at Sandling station. One option for car parking is at Ashford station. The Stagecoach 18 bus connects the 2 ends of the walk, hence car parking is possible at either end
General Notes
Bring sufficient food and liquid refreshments. Moderate pace - woodland facilities. LDWA membership card has a space on it for adding emergency contact details, all members are encouraged to carry this during the walk. It would be helpful to contact the walk leader to confirm if you wish to come on this walk (LDWA membership number required please)
