Includes 6,500’ of ascent. Meet 6.00am (prompt start) the road bridge, Dunsop Bridge village (free c.p. or on-street), 5ml south west of Slaidburn, Lancs. Map: LR 102 GR 659501. The latest in Tony Wimbush’s Over The Hill series does what it says on the tin, in bagging 12 400+ metre summits, all of them offering a trig point, amidst one of England’s last wilderness areas. The right to roam never felt so good & gives this supreme route a true wow factor.
