Meet Pitchcombe village (roadside parking, near Pitchcombe House), off A4173, 1.5ml south west of Painswick, Glos. Map: LR 162 GR 850080. This fascinating forage, in and out of the Stroud valleys, utilises the Cotswold Way and visits a number of idyllic villages as well as the small town of Nailsworth. LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
