We will walk the beach and promenade walk, past Bournemouth and Boscombe Piers. There is an opportunity to visit the YMCA Homeless shelter at Bournemouth Pier to learn about their amazing work. This is exactly the half way point on our walk, where we can enjoy our picnics or buy lunch. We will be welcomed by the Mayor of Bournemouth and the Chair of Dorset Council and told about the YMCA work by YMCA CEO Gareth Sherwood.
From there we will walk to Hengistbury Head, along the harbour to Mudeford , where we take the Mudeford Ferry to Mudeford Quay and walk into Christchurch. If people prefer to walk a shorter distance, they can join us or leave us at Bournemouth pier
