A flat, pleasant route taking in the entire Rufford Branch Canal in West Lancashire between, at one end, its junction with the Liverpool-Leeds main line at Burscough, & the River Douglas tidal lock, Tarleton at the other; riverside & field paths will complete the circuit

General Notes
The walk is suitable for train users & returns to the start point approximately halfway through, where the Tastebuds Café at Fettlers Wharf Marina should be available
