Saffron Walden is a beautiful town & we shall sample some of its architectural delights. Harcamlow Way to Ashdon, the charming village where the writer Spike Mays grew up in the early 20th century & which features in his books
General Notes
Bring sufficient food & drink. Lunch at Ashdon picnic or pub. Moderate Pace. Some muddy/slippery sections. If intending to come, please notify the walk leader in advance if possible, but even on the morning of the walk it is fine
