Part 1 of a 90-mile walk spanning historic Cheshire, starting in the coastal town of Hoylake on the Wirral & ending at Shining Tor in the Peak District, exploring many wildlife reserves en route. This first section, calling at Thurstaston, Heswall, Parkgate & Burton, will enter Chester by the Millennium Greenway & Shropshire Union Canal, to finish at the rlwy stn for trains back to Hoylake
