A figure-of-eight route incorporating the entire ten miles of the Middlewich Branch Canal, linking Middlewich on the Trent & Mersey with Barbridge on the Shropshire Union; field paths & a Roman road complete the circuit

Lunch will be taken in Church Minshull; walkers may choose to leave food & drink in their car, or avail themselves of the pub (or even both)

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
