The Medlock Valley Way, one of several routes developed along Greater Manchester's rivers, runs from Ducie Street near Piccadilly Station via Clayton Vale, Daisy Nook & Strines Dale to finish at Bishop Park north-east of Oldham. The landscape varies from canal stretches through reclaimed areas to clough woodland & open country near the finish
