This linear route, in memory of the late Jeff Parr, special friend, prolific walker, conscientious organiser and long-standing LDWA member, known to so many, is a fun route that ascends through Fritchley to reach Crich, where coffee and cake or other or nothing at all can be taken, before rising still further to Crich Stand and then descending to the Cromford Canal, which is followed until heading off to Bow Wood, up Scarthin Rock, through Cromford, Scarthin and Matlock Bath, along Lovers Walk, then over High Tor (Giddy Edge optional) and up to Pic Tor before finishing in Matlock to catch the train back, with prices as above, in the details for December
