Holy Trinity Church, Ratcliffe on Soar village (Notts), 1.5ml N of Kegworth (roadside parking)

A Boxing Day (or thereabouts) bonus walk takes us along a navigable stretch of the River Soar for the first half, which includes the villages of Kegworth and Zouch, before taking in Sutton Bonington, West Leake and the West Leake Hills, with stacks of variety and refreshment opportunities readily available

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
