Jctn of Kenilworth Rd/Stockport Rd (A560), Cheadle Heath (on-street parking) – frequent buses (no 11) from Stockport

10 mile LVIT, is one of the north west’s ‘green arteries’. Last February, unfortunately, the Interest Trail attracted…no interest! I foresee a better result in 2013. Starts Abney Hall, taking in Mickerbrook, Ladybrook, Norbury Brook, Bollinhurst Brook, Bramhall Park, Happy Valley and Norbury Hollow to finish at Lyme Park, via High Moor

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
