Meet at small carpark North of Cwmgiedd. Turn into Cwmgiedd and follow road up past houses, road will turn into a clean rough track, bare left at parking sign down to the small car park

Following in the footsteps of Ron Dix, who in 1984 set out in search of a hill poetically known as the 'Hill of the Sound', where the equally evocatively named 'Pool of the Sound' can also be found. According to local folklore, anyone who swims in the pool will… get wet !!!

Walk is out on exposed open country - if the weather is poor we'll do something different from the same location
