A new Challenge Event presented by the Heart of Scotland LDWA Group

|
The Trossachs Trundle is a 22.4 mile Challenge Event intended for walkers and runners on a circular route from Callander and circumnavigates Loch Venachar in the scenic Trossachs with 3350ft (1020m) ascent. The first section of the walk is the toughest, with the rocky ascent and descent of Callandar Craig – there will be a marshal at the start of this climb. From CP1 to CP2 the route mainly follows a good undulating track to Brig o’Turk. From there to the end the route is almost flat and on good track or lane for most of the way except for a small sting in the tail coming back into Callander. Here is a link to the route on OS maps and here is the GPX file HoSLDWATrossachsTrundle.gpx
