Hopefully we will have magnificent views from the edges, which are Standedge, Badger Edge and Boothstead Edge. The reservoirs are Piethorne, Dowry, Readycon Dean and Castleshaw. The walk also includes a visit to the site of the Castleshaw roman fort and to Delph.

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
