Walk Report

Peter Saw's Christmas Walk, Monday 3rd January 2011
14 walkers, 20 miles - leader Susanne Waldschmidt
More mince pies courtesy of Hilary and Peter, who welcomed us at Norbiton Station. 14 walkers again accompanied by Father Christmas (we couldn't get rid of him) followed the Rivers Hogsmill, Wandle and Thames to Richmond via Morden Hall Park. Lots of miles, 19.9 according to 1 GPS and 20.1 according to the other GPS, (Wise Father Christmas suggested the difference was due to the number of visits to the loo) and lots of laughs. Exactly what a social walk should be. We even had a couple of hours of sunshine.
