General Notes
Meet 9am at Snelsmore Common Country Park c. p. Map: Exp 158 or LR 174 GR SU464710. Please note that after changes to the A34 road layout, the slip road shown on older O.S. maps as leaving the A34 southbound and giving access to the minor road crossing the A34 at GR SU473712 no longer exists. Leave M4 or A34 at M4 Junct 13 (Chieveley Services) and from the main roundabout follow signs for Donnington round a series of roundabouts on to a road running south parallel to the A34. Just under a mile after the last roundabout, turn R on to a minor road signposted Winterbourne. At T junction with B4494 turn L, car park is then on R. Picnic lunch
