Meet 9:00am at Padworth common CP. Map: Landranger 175; Explorer 159; GR SU619648. From M4 J12 take A4 West. Turn left just before Aldermaston Wharf into Padworth Lane, straight on at cross roads into Rectory Road. In 1Km CP on right before junction. Bring a picnic lunch, possible short pub stop for drinks. The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
