At last, I hear you say, we reach the upper tidal point on the River Ouse. Our journey from the corresponding point on the Lune seems to have been going on for ever! Anyway it comes to an end with this walk but at the cost of a few extra miles. Lunch can be taken in Ulleskelf at the halfway point or somewhat later in Tadcaster. Something of a there and back walk

A Buccaneers Walk. Sicklinghall Road leads west from the A661 in Wetherby. The car park is to the north of the river
