The second of our project to complete the 116 Wainwright Outlying Fells. This walk will visit Lords Seat, Robin Hood and High House Bank by following the valley up to reach one of the enclosing ridges. Crookdale has a certain beauty, the beauty of desolation. The valley is without habitation and the lonliest within the National Park
General Notes
A Marauders Walk. Hicks Bridge is on the A6 between Kendal and Shap. It is possibe to meet at the Tickle Trout parking area (M6 junction 31) and share onward transport - leaving at 7.45 am
