We've walked round Bolton, Barnsley, Rochdale, Doncaster, Oldham and Sheffield. Now is our chance to walk round Leeds, This the first of five walks will cover about 11 of the 62 miles. An alternative way back has been devised. Lunch will be taken in Thorner

A buccaneers Walk. Golden Acre Park is on the A660 Leeds/Otley road. The car park is on the western side of the road

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
