A warm response to last year's new event resulted in a quick decision to re-run this in 2009. Scenic route, including Danes’ Graves, Sledmere, Wharram Percy, Thixendale, Givendale, Sylvandale, Deepdale, Huggate Wold, Wetwang, Garton on the Wolds and the latest Open Access areas. Maps: Exp 294/295.

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
