One of Boyd's favourite walks around Kendal taking in Potter Fell, Benson Knott, The Helm and Scout Scar all with extensive views of Lakeland hills, Howgills and Morecambe Bay. The terrain is over low fells, Access Land and some minor rds and lanes. Maps LR 97 or OL 7

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
