Another Glance at Vegetable Mountain
Sat 2nd Aug 2025
Walk Details:
A variant of a walk from October 2022 provides another chance to enjoy the Black Mountains from their northern end.. We will visit the 'friendless' St Ellyw's Church (and its whipping tree) & Rhos Fach common, before ascending Mynydd Bycan en route to Waun Fach. We then descent to the hamlet of Waun Fach to traverse Mynydd Troed prior to our return to Talgarth via Pwll-y-Wrach nature reserve
